STEVE HARRIS' GUITAR PEDALS UP FOR GRABS

"There is a pedal called 'the Worm' has been on more tracks than I can remember. I can say it has been used on every album from Noise onwards. Perhaps it can be most clearly heard on 'Fuck You', towards the end of the verses there is a high harp like sound which is the guitar through the Worm pedal and there is a pedal called 'micro synthesiser' which was used on 'You All Look The Same To Me'. It is difficult to pick out on record because it changes the sound of the guitar so dramatically! It is put to good use on 'Again', and on 'Finding It So Hard' it makes up part of the mad noise at the end. Definitely one of my favourite pedals. It has to be said that this one has become slightly unreliable but it does have an interesting history."aggbug

BE A PART Of ARCHIVE'S LIVE DVD

Good news: Archive have heard your wishes and are moving ahead with plans for a live DVD. Archive are doing this completely independently, without record company financing, marketing and promotion. Instead, they've teamed up with an exciting new company called Pledge Music. For more details on the campaign, go here, and please feel free to discuss the project on the forums. The more pledges, the better the chance Archive will have the means to make this happen, so if you have any suggestions or ideas about spreading the word, please let us know! aggbug
